Biography
Thomas Zimmermann is a Researcher at Microsoft Research in Seattle, USA and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. He received his PhD from Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany. His research focuses on empirical studies and on improving programmer productivity. He developed techniques and tools that make both managers and developers aware of history. Learning from past successes and failures will help us to create better software.
