Announcing the New Faculty and Researchers Symposium

The New Faculty and Researchers Symposium (NFRS) will be held in conjunction with ICSE 2011.  The goal of NFRS is to help new software engineering faculty members and researchers feel more comfortable and confident in dealing with the many challenges they face in their first career positions. NFRS will feature presentations by leading academic software engineering faculty and researchers who will provide advice and guidance based up their personal experiences and insights into the contemporary academic software engineering community.   Please see the NFRS page for a detailed schedule and a listing of speakers.

ICSE 2011 Keynote Speakers Announced

ICSE is pleased to announce its 2011 keynote speakers, Kumiyo Nakakoji, research director at Key Technology Laboratory, Software Research Associates Inc, and Bill Dresselhaus, founder and president of Dresselhaus Group, Inc., and invited Professor of Design at Hongik University in Seoul, Korea.

ICSE 2011 Technical Briefings Announced

The ICSE 2011 Technical Briefings have been announced. The Technical Briefings will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Click here for a detailed listing and schedule.

ICSE Technical Briefings are a new and improved type of tutorial. For a single registration fee, attendees can choose from a menu of twelve different topics, attending four full technical briefings in just one day or hopping between all twelve. Attendees do not have to decide which briefs to attend in advance.

NIER Track Dates Extended

The New Ideas and Emerging Results Track received a stunning 198 submissions!  As a consequence, the Notification and Camera-Ready dates have been extended to February 4th and February 18th respectively.
